D156
Dinky 156 Rover 75 Saloon. Two-tone green version. Large print baseplate. Very near mint/boxed. Really crisp box. From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
This classic Dinky Rover Saloon was made between 1956-59 in this two-tone green finish.
Pleasing lustre.
Note that this example has the large print and 156 on the shiny baseplate. Smooth original tyres run well. Couple of tarnished spots on the base and a tiny ‘bloomed’ spot at the front number plate.
The pictorial box is exceptionally crisp with such resistant end flaps. Feels as if it has been opened a couple of times ever! Clean and strongly-coloured. Correct colour spot. Light wear and a pen mark at an end flap. Period pencilled price at an end flap.
