C391
Corgi 391 James Bond Ford Mustang Mach 1. Very, very near mint/boxed. Inspired by the film 'Diamonds are Forever'. From The Monty Calme Collection.
Notes
This model was issued for one year only (1972) to coincide with the ‘Diamonds are Forever’ film release.
A sought-after James Bond Mustang model in virtually mint original condition.
The model has a striking deep vibrant red and black finish. High shine finish to the paint generally showing that this model has barely been handled. Not even a trace of a roof rub, nor even a mark head-on (which is nearly always the case). Unscratched amber glass.
A striking display piece.
Few tiny dots at the rear edge ( but probably as-made).
The box is fresh, clean and bright, complete with end flaps intact and the smooth original cellophane is undamaged. Crisp. The James Bond box label has fared better than most we have seen – very clean, strongly-coloured with minimal wear.
