C269
Corgi 269 James Bond Lotus Esprit. Mint/boxed, with missiles. BOX HAS NEVER BEEN OPENED. Version with the 'New' tag on the box & WITHOUT Hammer & Sickle detail. From an old shop stock find in Yorkshire.
Notes
Stored away for decades, this Gift Set is part of a startling old shop stock find. Many items have never been opened until now, with some outer boxes in a close to pristine state and others showing some signs of storage wear_.
A fine example of this James Bond-related item, inspired by the film ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’, first issued during 1977 (box is dated 1977 on the underside). In unused, mint condition, this box has never been opened (although we recommend that it is opened prior to sending in order to be able to pack it for safe transit to the new owner)_.
The ‘film strip’ header card box is very crisp and bright. The header card has a light crease on the reverse where the header meets the main body of the box. Light storage wear/grubbiness. Original cellophane window has a little ruffling and the tiniest start of a puncture.
A desirable addition to your collection, models of this quality are especially sought-after.
