Dinky 514 Guy Van "SLUMBERLAND". Excellent plus/boxed. From a small 'single owner from new' collection.
Notes
Issued between 1950-52, this model has a vivid red lustrous original paint finish with nearly perfect – very near ly perfect detailed transfers on both sides. Perfect ‘Slumberland’ transfer above the cab.
Presents well:
Small rubbed area to the transfer on one side and a chip nearby. Small nick to one of the letters on the other side.
The occasional little mark to the paint finish. Little area of rough casting at one side of the roof. Bright metal parts and well-shaped original tyres.
The early powder blue box impresses with fresh, bright colours on clean intact card. Very minor wear only. Period price at one lid end.
