C1113
Corgi 1113 Corporal Guided Missile Erector Vehicle. Near mint/boxed. With packing and 2 leaflets. From a most knowledgeable and enthusiastic collector in South London.
Notes
A detailed and impressive military model issued between 1959-62, with a movable boom which can elevate to vertical so that the missile can be lowered onto the launching pad (available separately at the time). This model works well. Close to perfect matt military green finish on the vehicle itself, and, as is nearly always the case, more marking to the missile. The rubber nose of the missile has deteriorated now and a percussion head replacement ( made by Corgi at the time) is recommended.
Spare wheel in place – often missing.
This example includes a promotional Leaflet as well as the promotional ‘Rocket Age’ Booklet.
Corgi Club Membership Form is included too.
Original packing card packing pieces are included too.
The attractive pictorial lift-off lid box is clean and vividly-coloured. One of the lid corners has a repair and note that there are three small part-punctures on one side of the lid. A little rubbing and light wear besides.
