This model makes a pleasing display piece with such a vivid red paint finish throughout and diecast hubs (later issues had plastic hubs), tinplate tank has transfers on both sides and at rear. No dents in the tanker. The lettering at the sides is complete (faint rubbing to a couple of the letters). Note a couple of rubs to the white background strip at the ‘ribs’ (so often the case at these vulnerable areas). The rear transfer has one tiny border nick.
Bright baseplate. Nice example in original condition throughout.
Couple of negligible marks to the paint finish.
The striped pictorial box is clean, bright and fresh showing minimal handling. Bright staples. Small deep blue packing piece is still present too.
