Notes
An interesting pairing from this collector. Issued between 1970-75, thi*s pre-production sample piece* has a red and white finish with complete ’POLIZEI" labels. Note minor differences – the indicator lights on this pre-production piece are yellow (whereas the issued version has orange). Note too, that the blue light is hand-finished and the base of the light is unpainted. As is typical of pre-production pieces, it has a screwed base.
The issued version is in very near mint condition with a rivetted base. Complete ‘POLIZEI’ labels. Whizzwheels. Complete with siren and bright blue warning light, jewelled headlights. Very close to mint condition.
The red and yellow window box is brightly-coloured with a crisp feel. Intact original cellophane front. A little handling ruffle at the top edge of one large end flap.
