Notes
Issued between 1961-64, this two-part set from the popular Chipperfield’s Circus range, with al original accessories displays well. It comprises :
1) Corgi 1121 Circus Crane Truck. Unfaded vivid red and yellow finish with light blue lettering at the sides. Bright winding cuff is metal, shiny silver boom and strung winch. Baely a mark to the paint finish. Looks completely unused.
2) Corgi 1123 Circus Cage. Matching finish. Sought-after earliest issue with red metal sliding doors. Notably, the amber roof lights are intact very minor marking). Occasional negligible mark to the paint finish. Bright flat spun wheels and red plastic tow bar. A fine shining lustre on this early example.
The colourful pictorial lift-off lid box is bright with no splits or heavy wear Some edge rubbing/light scuffing.
3 card packing pieces are included as well as the card ring. 2 Corgi Club Membership Forms, unapplied LIONS transfer, 2 Corgi Instruction Slips and 2 lions in still-selaed original plastic packet.
