Issued between 1966-69, this Ford articulated truck is in very close to mint condition. -a particularly difficult find with brass-coloured roof horns. Complete with both wing mirrors intact (including the little reflective ‘mirror’ pieces), straight horns on the cab roof, and perfect “EXPRESS SERVICE” detailing on both sides of the bright silver, untarnished sliding doors. So eye-catching and it comes complete with the original mechanic figure, too.
This cast wheel variation is more often found win the later card and cellophane box.
Few very minor marks at the rear of the cab, and the occasional tiny mark besides.
General impression is this Ford Truck is in unused condition.
The bright pictorial card plinth on which the model sits has strong vivid colours, fresh and crisp. Little card ruffling to the card near the mechanic’s slot. Minor wear only.
The pictorial end flap box is complete and bright. Minor age wear, including shelf grubbiness on the underside. Couple of very minor discreet end flap repairs.
Nice to see that this example comes complete with the card wrap-around piece.
