C1111
Corgi 1111 Massey-Ferguson "780" Combine Harvester. Near mint/boxed, with Leaflet & Corgi Club Membership Form. Scarce issue with yellow wheels, metal tines. From 'The Monty Calme' Corgi Collection.
Notes
This scarce early issue has yellow metal wheels (nearly always found with red metal wheels) and notably intact metal tines -(later issues had plastic tines).
Such a day-one lustre to the glossy bright red paint finish!.The carriage holding the tines turns well too. The ‘teeth’ are all present and straight. Perfect ‘Massey-Ferguson’ labels at both sides.
IN all original condition – you will find the occasioanl mark to the paint finish. Minor ‘bowing’ to a couple of the tines.
The large and colourful, lift-off lid box is brightly- coloured with a little handling/age wear (little creasing, little crumple and a small fleck of surface loss). No splits, tears or repairs.
It comes with two original card packing pieces, too. Note that a spare elastic band (aka drive belt) is in place on the top packing piece. Comes complete with printed Corgi Informative Leaflet & Corgi Club Membership Form.
A wonderfully detailed and intricate early Corgi model.
