Issued between 1966-69, this Oldsmobile car has a gleaming, deep purple-blue finish, complete bonnet logo (minor age transparency), bright chrome parts, detailed cast wheels. Fine original tyres. If you press the roof periscope the figure moves from side to side to shoot the enemy! . This is the more difficult to find version with plastic chromed spotlights (to dazzle the enemy!). A very attractive item on display:
A few tiny marks to the paint finish. Couple of tiny bumper marks.
So often lost or replaced with a copy, this Thrushbuster comes with its original Waverley ring. Changing image on the ring face of Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin.
The clean and fresh-looking monochrome card plinth is complete and feeling crisp. Vibrant colours. One tiny tear at a wheel slot.
Lots of info about the U.N.C.L.E organisation on box reverse as well as pictures and signatures of the T.V. series protagonists.
The outer box is bright and complete, looking fresh with minor age/handling wear only, including minor grubbiness. All end flaps are present and tear free. Includes the original card wrap-around packing piece too. Corgi Club Membership Form is included.
