Corgi Gift Set 3 Batmobile & Batboat. 3rd issue. Very, very near mint-mint/boxed. Scarce set from The New European Collection.
Notes
One of the sought-after Batman Gift Sets, this late version (copyright 1976) is presented in the colourful header-card window box.
The set comprises:
1) Batmobile – fixed gold tow hook version and both seated figures of Batman and Robin. Bright and original gloss finish, fully functioning and complete with aerial, intact light blue screens. Bright bat labels. Suspension is fine on all four shiny wheels. Looks as-new! Just a few negligible dots.
2) Batboat is the correct later version with plastic fin. Intact blue screens and bright chrome cockpit. Very bright paper labels including the bat labels on the fin. Gold trailer has the correct later whizzwheels. Mint condition item.
Included – Full sprue of original yellow missiles.
Both items are housed in the original and intact polystyrene inner which is in pristine condition.
Colourful and complete outer box has intact original cellophane. Very minor age/handling wear, including a little area of light sunfading (minor!).
Operating Instructions on this late issue were printed on the underside of the outer box.
