Originally sourced from a collector who sold many rare and unusual Corgi items through QDT several years ago, this model is a Code 3 item, that never went on sale in the shops. Apparently, a small quantity was made for U.S. export. (This model was originally purchased in the U.S.).

Finished in the standard ‘Hammonds’ colours, this Commer Van which would usually bear the ‘Hammonds’ decals at the sides, has gold and black ‘BOOTS CHEMISTS’ labels instead!
Delicate ‘BOOTS’ transfer at the rear in navy blue and gold.
Suspension on all four wheels. Detailed cast hubs. Original fine tread tyres.
Few negligible marks to the paint finish. Couple of small nicks in the rear transfer.
Correct plain blue and yellow card box with ‘462’ and ‘BOOTS CHEMISTS’ written. Number 12 is written too – were only 12 made?
A little age/handling wear to the box and old tape residue on one side.
