C262
Corgi 262 Lincoln Continental Executive Limousine. Very near mint (but peeling chrome)/boxed, with 2 deep blue card packing pieces, full strip of picture cards. From 'The Monty Calme' Corgi Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1967-69, this prestigious American car has a striking gold and black finish, opening boot, bonnet and doors.
Lots of nice details on this car, not least the luxurious interior with deep red seating and dark blue ‘carpet’! Common fault – the chrome on the dashboard and bumper is peeling away. Paint finish is in very close to mint (couple of minor marks). Little nick in one of the side transfers. Underneath, the car has a battery casement so that the onboard t.v. set can be used! It comes with a still uncut strip of 5 of the original picture cards, not including the one in place on the t.v screen, showing a boxing match!
The car sits on a complete card plinth which is very fresh and clean, with barely any wear at all.
Two deep blue card packing pieces are included.
The blister-style outer box has an intact blister and an unpunched header card. Little age grubbiness and some edge ruffling to the front section of the card.
