Corgi Gift Set 13

Notes

We are delighted to offer this scarce original Gift Set for sale.
It comprises:
First issue with a black and white Renault in close to mint condition – and a more difficult find with the red roof label (usually black). Complete with spare wheel in the bonnet, driver, camera man and camera.

Note the little nicks to the bonnet transfer. Roof label is fine as are the ‘Tour De France’ side transfers. Shiny chrome base. Detailed cast wheels and well-shaped original tyres.
Couple of tiny marks to the paint finish.
Later issues would have a plain orange sleeve insert, but this slightly earlier issue has the attractive tree-lined backdrop, with the little, intact clear blister attached, containing the race leader on his bicycle in his yellow jersey.
Polystyrene plinth is complete, clean and fresh.

The header card window box is clean and bright with intact original cellophane. Colourful scene on card reverse.
