C267
Corgi 267 Batmobile. Scarce 1st issue - Matt black version. Very near mint/boxed. With Secret Instruction Packet. A sought-after, iconic model from 'The Monty Calme' Corgi Collection.
Notes
This early example is in beautiful, very near mint condition. Lovely and unmistakeable silky matt paint finish (few of these have survived, most were gloss finish).
Occasional negligible pinprick dot to the paint finish. Suspension is fine on three of the wheels. Nonetheless, the car sits fine and straight. Vivid blue screens, both seated figures of Batman and Robin, bright chrome to launching tubes and cockpit, vivid Bat hubs and Bat logos on both sides. Intact aerial. Pulsating flame, chain cutter and rocket launchers work well.
Card inner is very bright and clean with vivid artwork.
Crease and minor wear but no tears.
The Secret Instruction Packet has been opened (this example has a monochrome Instruction Leaflet whereas this early issue should be in colour). Full sprue of yellow rockets. Original badge. Extra Features Slip.
The colourfully illustrated outer box is vivid and complete. Minor age/ handling wear. Period pencilled price on a non-picture side.
A scarce Corgi iconic item to add to your collection.
