C349
Corgi 349 Morris Mini Minor 'Pop Art'. Very near mint/boxed. Very scarce and always sought-after. From a beautiful, single-owner collection, some 25 years in the making.
Notes
One of the most prized Corgi models, we are delighted to offer this example in superb, close to mint condition.
Correctly finished in orange-red with suspension on detailed cast wheels. The highly decorative transfers are complete/nearly complete throughout (very small portion on the bonnet has flaked off). Note too that this model has the correct horizontal body line on the front wing and patent number (not patent applied) on the base. These details ensure that this model is a Mini Mostest and not a later decorated red Mini Corgi 226.
Not a trace of sunfading on this most decorated Corgi car! Indeed, it has obviously had occasional and careful handling only, since the delicate transfers are so easy to damage. The transfers on both sides, including the ‘MOSTEST’ lettering, and the large roof transfer, are intact and so vibrant!
As far as the paint finish is concerned, this model is very close to mint with just a few little dots on the bonnet and a mark on the front bumper..
The correct colourfully illustrated card box is extremely, bright and fresh! Crisp. Very minor age wear only. No tears, graffiti or grubbiness. Plenty of end flap spring,
One of the most highly-prized Corgi items in close to mint/boxed, original condition!
