C218
Corgi 218 Aston Martin D.B.4. Near mint plus/boxed with PRINTED CORGI NOTE FOR APPLICATION OF WHEEL TRIMS. Yellow version with flat spun wheels. Open vent. From 'The Heart of England' Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1961-62, this is the early version of the Aston Martin, with a fresh, shining primrose yellow finish, red interior and bright flat spun wheels with suspension. Note that the period Corgi wheel accessory labels supplied with this model have been added at some time (two still remaining on the sheet). Tyres are supple, and well-shaped.
Open vent on the bonnet on these early issues.
A very attractive example in all original condition, with just the occasional little mark. Few bumper chips.
The box is very crisp, bright and clean. Tiny wear only. Little scribble. Corgi Club Membership Form is included. Note that on the reverse there is a printed Instruction Note from Corgi for the application of the wheel trims.
