Notes
This Thornycrofy Mighty Antar Tractor and Transporter has a very fine, military green, all original paint finish, driver figure and no windows. Gives the impression of unsold old shop stock.
Chip at an exposed edge of the cab and a couple of smaller marks besides.
The striped Supertoys box impresses with its fresh clean colours on undamaged, barely handled card, complete with its packing piece. Dated 1960 for the Dinky stamp on the interior surface of the lid.
Green colour spot at lid end – probably not referring to the colour of the model inside the box (they are always military green!) but more likely to denote lead-free paint.
A super military piece.
