An outstanding Gift Set from this collection! Issued during 1965, this colourful and intact, plastic ‘Matchbox Fire Station’ is complete.

Bright and fresh-looking original labels, this attractive decorative item comes with the correct close to pristine- pristine boxed models:

1) 29 Fire Pumper Truck with ‘DENVER’ labels, knobbly black tyres. Mint in a super-fresh box (little storage crumple).

2) 54 Cadillac Ambulance in white with complete red cross labels, roof light, black knobbly tyres. Very near mint (one mark) in an exceptionally crisp, fresh box ( but couple of small, light surface tears).

3) 59 Ford Galaxie Fire Chief Car, in vibrant red with blue roof light and complete ‘Fire Chief’ labels. Black knobbly tyres. Absurdly crisp box with such resistant end flaps! Nevertheless, a puncture to the end flaps at one end (caused by the tow hook).

Early issue all card, end flap-style picture box with Gift Set G-5 ‘strap label’ with contents detail is clean, with vibrant colours and no tears. Period U.S. dollar price is stamped. Minor wear (including the inevitable breaks in the ‘strap label’ – required to open the end flaps.

Original,* wedge-shaped card packing piece is still present – as well as a large *clear plastic open packet into which the Gift Set is placed. Presumed original.
