D412
Dinky 30J/412 Austin Wagon. Deep mid-blue issue with paler blue wheels. Very near mint/boxed. From 1954. Fine classic Dinky from The Reference Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1954-60 in four different colour finishes, this deep mid-blue version may not be the rarest but it is one of our favourites! Complete and intact original radiator and headlight assembly with original detailing, contrasts nicely with the deep mid-blue finish. A striking and eye-catching truck on display with a beautiful original lustre:
Base has some tarnishing.
Paint finish is vibrant and most eye-catching. Little (box contact) rub visible under strong light on the roof. The dual-numbered pictorial box is complete and bright and very fresh, with the correct colour spot at the end flaps. Marks the change-over from the older 30J numbering to 412 which occurred during 1954. Very crisp. Minor wear only.
