Notes
A scarce issue made during 1954-55. This Guy Flat Truck has a vivid red cab and chassis, mid blue back, mid-blue ridged hubs. Large painted hook. Second type cab so this model has triangular lugs at either side of the front number plate.
In very close to mint, all original condition.
Generally shiny base ( few tarnished spots) and well-shaped smooth original tyres. Hard to find a mark to the paint finish (couple at the tow hook).
A very difficult find in any condition.
The blue and white striped picture box is complete and strongly-coloured, with no splits. Little period numbering and scribble at lid ends. Faint numbering on the lid. Rusty staples. Correct colour spot. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this model from 1955.
A very fine example of a sought-after Dinky commercial truck.
