C1132
Corgi 1132 Bedford TK Carrimore Transporter. Very near mint/boxed with packing. With BOTH WING MIRRORS INTACT. A rare find from a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition. One of the best surviving examples.
Notes
Issued between 1963-65, this is a scarce find (rare to come to the market place).
In fine, all original condition, with both wing mirrors intact notably. Virtually perfect original yellow and red finish with bright metal parts, both spare tyres, and a delightful and complete Corgi dog logo at the rear folding ramp.
Another completely unused example from this collector – bought at the time and then simply stored away until now, largely untouched.
Outstanding lustre to the original paint finish.
Nonetheless, you will find a couple of negligible edge marks (probably factory) and a few little marks where metal meets metal on the drop down rear ramp section.
The pictorial box is complete and bright. These comparatively flimsy boxes holding heavy trucks nearly always suffer substantial wear. This example has fared better than many we have seen. Wear principally at end flaps, including a couple of little tears. Card plinth has some of the usual wear at wheel slots as you might expect. Not often found with the card packing piece too! Corgi Club Membership Form is included.
