D142
Dinky 142 Jaguar Mark X. Near mint plus/boxed (export). Light metallic blue issue. With two items of luggage. From a beautiful, single-owner collection, some 25 years in the making.
Notes
A more difficult find in the export box.
Finished in sleek, metallic light blue, this Jaguar Mark X is an attractive example, complete with the two pieces of original luggage stowed in the boot. Suspension on shining shaped spun hubs, red interior. Still fastened to the bright yellow card inner by means of the two original stiff plastic tabs:
Note the little casting mark on the bonnet and the occasional little mark besides.
A difficult find in the card and cellophane outer box (made for export). Notoriously fragile boxes, largely made of cellophane, they are regularly found in poor condition. This example has fared better than many! Fresh, bright and complete with intact original cellophane. Coupe of tiny discreet card repairs.
Issued 1962-68.
