C404
Corgi 404 Bedford "Dormobile" Personnel Carrier. Very, very near mint/boxed. Metallic cerise version. From a beautiful, single-owner collection, some 25 years in the making.
Notes
First issue of this delightful Bedford van in metallic cerise finish, divided windscreen and flat spun hubs. In virtually mint condition, this Bedford Van looks like old shop stock!
This model has certainly spent most of its life in the box. Mere micro-mark or two visible to the most uncharitable eye. Nice bright baseplate and wheels. Well-shaped, as-new original tyres.
The early powder-blue picture box is complete and strongly-colouted. Crisp feel (unusual for these earliest boxes). Little storage crumple and minor shelf grubbiness on one non-picture side. Faintly-pencilled number at an end flap.
Not an easy model to find these days.
