A classic Supertoy from the heyday of Dinky and part of the desirable range of advertising vans made during the period 1950-61.
This ‘Ever Ready’ Guy Van is in all original condition with a lustrous mid-blue finish and very near perfect transfers on both sides.
Few little speckled dots on the transfers and note that there are a couple of tiny casting marks. Shiny metal parts generally (tiny tarnishing at the spare wheel fixing). Occasional tiny dot only to the wonderful vivid and lustrous original paint finish.
Looks af it has spent most of the last 55 or so years tucked away in the box! Tyres are the originals and the spare wheel is present too.
The box is complete and fresh-looking, with glowing colours no repairs or grubbiness. Staples are rusty now, but no rust staining to the box. Small area of surface loss at a short lid end. Little shelf rubbing to the underside of the box base. Dated 1955 from the Dinky stamp inside the box lid.
