FD24A
French Dinky 24A Chrysler 'New Yorker'. Very, very near mint plus/boxed. Vibrant deep red issue with 'Chrysler 1955' on base. From The French Dinky section of The Reference Collection.
Notes
This classic American model was made between 1957-60 in vibrant deep red with ivory seating, notably shiny chrome wheels (often tarnished!), well-shaped white tyres and a shiny baseplate (minor ‘spidering’).
Shiny base, this is the issue with 1955 on the base.
Mere dot at a headlight rim and a little marking on the side rims, visible only from the underside.
The box is complete and bright. Crisp. Minor age grubbiness, tiniest start of a tear and the remains of a period price label on one end flap.
