D283
Dinky 283 B.O.A.C. Coach. Very near mint/boxed. Lovely box! From a private cache of high quality models.
Notes
First issued during 1956, this coach has a deepest blue paint finish with a white roof. ‘BRITISH OVERSEAS AIRWAYS CORPORATION’ lettering is notably perfect on both sides (nearly always found a little rubbed). The BOAC lettering in yellow as well as the distinctive gold Speedbird emblem is complete and intact. Shiny base and axles. Smooth original tyres run well.
The occasional very small mark.
The picture box has a crisp, clean, bright, as-new feel. Looks as if it has barely seen the light of day.
