D934
Dinky 934 Leyland Octopus Wagon. Very near mint/boxed. All original early issue from 1956. A fine example from a private cache of high quality models.
Notes
First issue in vivid green and yellow finish, red diecast hubs, green band above the radiator. This is a sought-after Dinky commercial truck and an eye-catching example on display.
Painstakingly examined for retouches – we are pleased to say that this high profile Dinky Truck has none!
Retaining its day one lustre, bright metal parts and 20 mph label toward the rear.
It has been a while since we have seen one this good. Cannot recall seeing one with an unscuffed tow hook!
Occasional negligible mark and a couple of stray dots of (factory) green paint at the rear. Well-shaped original tyres.
The striped Supertoys box is very bright, and fresh. Clean with barely any wear! None of the usual shelf rubbing to the deep blue base underside. No splits or graffiti. Very, very nice! Dated 1956 from the Dinky stamp inside the lid. Period price at a lid end.
