Notes
This is the early version issued between 1953-54 and has a pale blue Bedford cab and chassis with deep fawn decks. Black radiator and bumper.
A most pleasing sheen to the original paint finish, showing that this model has been handled carefully and very occasionally.
Complete “Dinky Toys Delivery Service” at both sides. Note the lettering on the rear ramp has a little rubbing. Well-shaped original, smooth tyres.
Barely a mark to the paint finish on this four rivet version.
The striped, ‘Dinky Toys’ picture box is complete and bright. Intact with no splits. U.S. export ‘Hudson Dobson’ export label on the lid (couple of tiny edge nicks). Faint price is just about visible at one lid end. Staples are rusty now.
An attractive classic Dinky truck on display – especially with a fresh delivery of Dinky cars!
