C230
Corgi 230 Merecedes-Benz 220SE. Near mint plus/boxed. Black version. Scarce. From The Swedish Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1962-67 in a few different finishes, this striking version in black is the most difficult version to find. Intact bonnet emblem and suspension on shaped spun wheels. Spare wheel stowed in the boot. Very similar to Corgi 253 – but unlike 253, note that this issue (correctly) has no quarterlight window.
Very light roof rub (box contact). Little factory assembly mark at wheel arches, small mark at a door handle. Minor bumper marking.
The box is clean, crisp and bright. Minimal handling, so a nice, silky feel. Period price at an end flap. Little corner crumple.
