D153A
Dinky 153A U.S. Military Jeep. Very near mint/not individually boxed. Scarce. From a beautiful, single-owner collection, some 25 years in the making.
Notes
A very fine example indeed of this scarce U.S. issue Military Jeep. All original condition throughout and looking completely unused, with a wonderfully matte military green finish and a notably intact white star on the bonnet, and on one side (correct).
Nearly always found quite chipped at the tinplate windscreen – this example has fared better than most with just one, barley visible, top corner edge rub.
Bright metal parts including the crimped axle ends. Supple original tyres, although two have extremely minor flat spots now.
Never individually boxed (issued 1948-52), this model would have been sold from a shopkeeper’s trade box.
Not an easy find.
