C239
Corgi 239 Volkswagen 1500 Karmann Ghia. Cream issue. Very near mint plus, with luggage/boxed. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
This fine Corgi car has an original rich cream paint finish with a bright red detailed interior. Opening bonnet and boot. Spare wheel and piece of luggage still stowed.
Bright shaped spun wheels with suspension. Shiny silver baseplate. Looks barely handled. Note the little graze at the rim of the opening boot. Faintest of roof rubs.
The picture box looks like old shop stock with day-one vibrant colours on crisp card. Resistant end flaps. Silky feel to the barely handled card. Period price labels at an end flap.
