C435
Corgi 435 Karrier Bantam Dairy Produce Van "Drive Safely On Milk". Very, very near mint/boxed. Outstanding. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
Issued between 1962-63 only, this delightful Dairy Van is a sought-after item, particularly in this exceptional condition.
Looking day-one fresh and bright with complete comical “cartoon-style” transfers on both sides. As to the paint finish, the colours are vibrant and glossy and hard to fault. Note the stray factory flick of white on the bonnet and a couple of stray silver (again factory) dots on one side. Mere dot on the roof.
Shiny shaped spun wheels and as-new tyres.
Wonderful and surely one of the best examples you will ever see.
The box is really very nice indeed; crisp, bright and complete. Looks like old shop stock. Small scuff at an end flap. Period price is faintly stamped at an end flap and nearby the same price is written in pen.
An eye-catching Corgi commercial van with lots of appeal. We have not seen better.
