Notes
Finished in a day-one lustrous, reddish-maroon with red cast wheels and a tan tilt, this Austin Covered Wagon is a virtually mint, all original example with shiny metal parts and a black radiator and headlight assembly with fine original silver detailing.
Bright baseplate and metal parts generally.
Original tyres are fine and supple. Minutest inspection reveals a few mere dots but such is the quality of the finish, it feels almost over-harsh to downgrade.
A real display piece.
The box is clean and bright, complete with all end flaps. Crisp feel. Correct colour spot. Do note that one small end flap has been skilfully repaired, and so the clever repair is easy to overlook. Barely any wear besides.
