C203
Corgi 203 Vauxhall Velox Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce CREAM version with original silver flutes on bonnet. Superb, fresh example in a close to pristine early box. From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
This model is in all-original condition, and a more difficult find in this eye-catching rich cream finish (not the lemon-yellow finish!) with silver fluting on the bonnet. Flat spun wheels and a shining tinplate baseplate. A bright paint finish and of course, the eye-catching silver detail on the bonnet, radiator and bumpers is all original and gleaming bright.
One little mark at a wheel arch detail, and a mere dot besides. Usual little edge marks at baseplate rim (factory assembly). In impressive, all original condition. Obviously, this car has spent most of its fifty + years in its early blue picture box. Minor rubbing at edges and light wear besides (including a little very minor surface loss immediately around the letter ‘i’ of Corgi on one box face. Period price label on the inside surface of one large end flap.
