D107
Dinky 107 Sunbeam Alpine. Cerise. Very near mint/boxed. From an impeccable collection in The Netherlands.
Notes
A classic Dinky car made between 1955-59 in lovely, all original condition, with a shining cerise finish, lemon wheels, pale grey interior, white driver, intact windscreen and notably complete racing numbers throughout. And not even a chip or rub on the driver’s head! Well-shaped, smooth, original tyres. Shiny base.
Minor dot or two visible to the uncharitable eye, and a couple of faint rubs at side body line details.
The box looks exceptionally fresh and strongly-coloured, with a crisp, as-new feel. Correct colour spot at the end flaps. Little end flap hinge tear, otherwise hard to fault. Shopkeeper’s price.
An extremely fine model on display.
