Notes
This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection ? always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.
Issued between 1959-63, this version has a lustrous salmon pink and light green finish with shining shaped spun wheels and white treaded tyres. In all original condition throughout, this is an eye-catching classic Dinky car on display:
Untarnished base has a few light scratches. ‘M’ stamped original tyres run well.
Happily free of the near-obligatory roof rub, chipping at bumpers or rear wing tips. One mere dot on the rear wing top edges. Couple of stray flicks of factory silver at a front wing.
The picture box is complete and bright, with a crisp feel to the card. Correct two-colour spot at the end flaps. Vibrant colours. No tears or graffiti. Minor wear only.
