C224
Corgi 224 Bentley Continental Sports Saloon. Scarce issue in pale metallic light green & CREAMY-WHITE. Near mint plus/boxed, with spare wheel in the boot.
Notes
Issued between 1961-65, this Bentley Continental model has a gleaming and distinctive pale metallic green finish, with a creamy-white upper. Different from the standard version which has a very pale green upper. Jewelled front and rear lights, opening boot with spare wheel, and a perfect, intact bonnet emblem_.
Suspension on shaped spun wheels. Original, fine tread, smooth-running grey tyres.
This harder to find version looks barely handled!
Couple of minor chrome rubs and a few very small marks to the paint finish.
The pictorial card box is complete and bright, with a crisp feel. Very minor wear only. Plenty of end flap spring. Shopkeeper’s period pencilled price at an end flap.
