C479
Corgi 479 Commer Mobile Camera Van 'Samuelson'. Near mint, GOLD TRIPOD issue/boxed. With equipment case. From a high quality collection in the U.S.
Notes
This blue and white Commer Van has a bright mid-blue interior, and suspension on spun wheels. As-new Corgi tyres with ‘Corgi Toys’ embossed. Note that this version has a gold tripod, more often found with a silver tripod. Complete with intact ‘Samuelson Film Service Limited’ paper label on one side of the van, small nick to the other. Includes the little black plastic opening equipment case, 3 position cameraman and his rotating camera.
Couple of marks to the rear doors and a mere dot or two besides. Presents well.
The header card picture box is bright with vivid colours. Crisp. The large header card has a little crease at the reverse where it meets the box and the tiniest of edge tears. Header tends to slope backwards somewhat. The original cellophane window is still in place ( although it has a tear and a piece detached). End flap seam tear.
The colourful card inner is bright, clean and crisp. Scuff caused by contact with the van and a little edge ruffle to the additional card piece where it has come into contact with the edge of the van.
