C267
Corgi 267 Batmobile. Whizzwheel issue. Very near mint/boxed. From The Renos Louka Collection.
Notes
A collection some 20 years in the making. Renos Louka from Virginia Water, Surrey specialised in Film & TV models. His interest was due to his occupation of supplying camera and lighting equipment to the film, TV and broadcast industry.
Always an exciting Corgi toy! This issue with whizzwheels is in virtually mint condition, with a gleaming black finish, both seated figures, intact aerial (minor wear) and bright bat logos on both sides. Intact chrome dashboard, gold tow hook. Correct that this issue has a fixed flame detail (earlier issues had a pulsating flame effect). Such an iconic Corgi display piece!
Mere dot or two to the high gloss original finish.
Full sprue of yellow rockets is included.
The outer box is virtually shop-fresh. Day-one bright colours and intact original cellophane. Minor ruffle to the cut-out piece of the inner where the tow hook rests, otherwise hard to fault.
