D100
Dinky 100 Lady Penelope's Fab 1. Rare FLUORESCENT PINK issue in BUBBLE PACK. Excellent plus/boxed. First we have seen in years!
Notes
Probably the most eye-catching of Dinky t.v related models! Unmistakeably fluorescent pink version which was produced a little later than the standard rose pink issue.
In all original condition, this model has a clear sliding roof, and both figures of Parker (driving) and Lady Penelope ensconced amidst the luxurious gold seating.
Silver base and spun wheels with concentric circles and central point. As-new original tyres.
None of the usual marks to the clear sliding roof which functions well. Very pleased to say that the bonnet emblem is intact as are the Fab 1 number plates front and rear (a little light crease or two). Six jewelled headlights. There are a few little chips mostly on one side. Front rocket fires as do the rear harpoons.
This example comes with a rocket and 3 harpoons.
Card plinth on which the models sits is brightly-coloured and crisp. Small area of surface loss on the bed. Little Warning Label is still in place. The original bubble top is notably clear and intact, although there is a little ‘bruise’ at one side.
