Notes

A private collection of fine childhood models has just come in to stock. Barely handled and extremely well looked after with one owner from new, we are especially delighted to offer this scarce original Gift Set for sale.

The set comprises:
Corgi 318 Mini Cooper ‘S’ in bright red finish with a white roof, jewelled head and spotlights, racing number ‘52’ on both sides, Monte Carlo labels on bonnet and boot, shaped spun wheels with suspension. In very close to mint condition, with a tiny portion of the Monte Carlo bonnet decal ‘nibbled’ in one corner, and a little area of corrosion on the sump guard underneath.
Corgi 322 Rover 2000 in shining metallic maroon finish with a white roof, Monte Carlo labels on bonnet and boot, racing number ‘136’ on both doors. Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled headlights and “Trans-O-Lite” lights. In very near mint condition with one pin prick mark on the roof and one tiny nick in the racing number on one side (minor).
Corgi 323 Citroen DS19 in pale blue finish with a white roof. Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled lights, intact aerial on the roof. Racing number ‘75’ on both sides, Rally labels on bonnet and boot. In very near mint condition with perfect labels. Just a couple of tiny marks only!
The very detailed card plinth on which each car sits is in superb crisp and fresh condition. No tears or grubbiness – cannot believe a nicer one exists!
The outer box is very bright and crisp with no tears and excellent strong colours. Just the most minor wear at corners (very minor!).
It comes complete with a white card rectangular packing piece (not pictured).
The nicest example of this desirable rare Corgi Gift Set that we have seen.
