Notes
This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection ? always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.
This desirable Dinky Jaguar is in all original, close to mint condition, issued between 1957-59. A striking colour combination; pale grey and deep yellow finish with pale grey wheels and smooth tyres (minor surface cracks to two tyres, tiny flat spot to one).
Bright baseplate:
A little of the usual rubbing at side raised body lines (due to box contact) but not even a trace of a roof rub! Little casting mark at a front wing and a few little marks besides.
It comes with a very fresh and crisp red and yellow box which has strong colours and resistant end flaps (showing that this box as been opened rarely). Close to shop-fresh. Tiniest wear and a period price is pencilled at an end flap.
