This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection ? always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.

This classic Dinky Foden comes in such a shining (almost ‘liquid gloss’), all original green finish with all chain posts intact, straight and unbroken, and original chain. Black tyres and domed chain post bosses. Looks superb on display!

So often, to our dismay, these high profile Dinky commercials, have little touch-ins – we are so pleased to say that this example is in totally original, honest condition! Looking extremely fine, you will note a little mark or two (very small!) on the roof, just a couple of wheel arches have a rub, near microscopic rub to the chain post tops, rear bed edges. Being extra critical here!
Complete with spare wheel on the underside and bright metal parts. 20 mph sticker is intact at a wheel arch.
Obviously, rarely handled and very well stored this Foden has retained its wonderfully vibrant fresh paint finish, bright metal parts, undimmed silver trim, supple, well-shaped tyres.
The striped Supertoys box is clean and strongly-coloured. Little corner scuff. Note that one lid seam has a carefully repaired split. Export Hudson Dobson label is bright and clean . Small area of surface loss where tape keeping the lid closed has been removed. LF (lid-free) label is in place. Deep blue base has minimal wear, with a little piece of period Christmas tape in place!
