Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
A very close to mint example in bright, black and white finish with a blue roof light and perfect black and white, luminous “POLICE” labels on both sides. Lettering is in black. Detailed red interior. Perfect suspension, a bright chrome baseplate and bumpers, whizzwheels.
A couple of tiny marks only.
The early issue red and yellow window box is in shop-fresh condition with smooth intact original cellophane. Scarce to find with model-specific leaflet (luminous door panel information), incorporating a Corgi Club Membership Form.
