C224
Corgi 224 Bentley Continental Sports Saloon. Black & silver issue. Very near mint/boxed, with spare wheel in the boot. From a lifetime collection in London.
Notes
Issued between 1961-65, this Bentley model has a gleaming black and silver finish, with jewelled front and rear lights, opening boot with spare wheel, and a perfect intact bonnet emblem. Suspension on shaped spun wheels and the original light grey tyres with fine treads are clean, well-shaped and supple.
A beautiful display piece!
Looks unused with a couple of mere pin prick dots on the chrome. None of the usual rubbing at chrome edges. Couple of small marks at two wheel arches and another at the opening boot edge.
The pictorial card box is bright, feeling crisp and looking fresh. Resistant end flaps (rarely opened). Little tear to one. Minor storage crease or two. No graffiti.
