C261
Corgi 261 James Bond Aston Martin D.B.5. Complete. Near mint/boxed, complete with original badge, spare villain and Secret Instructions. One of the must-have Corgi models!
Notes
One of the most popular Corgi models ever, issued between 1965-69. It is in all original condition with none of the reproduction accessories, rife with this issue.
The car is fully functioning, complete with both figures. No suspension on one wheel (the other 3 are fine), although the model sits well. Original tyres are supple , looking as-new. The model has had careful handling only – the car has an attractive bright gold finish (other colour shades exist).
Occasional little mark. Roof closes well. The ejector mechanism works well, too. Period Corgi Accessory tax disc and GB sticker have been added.
The plinth on which the model sits is bright and fresh with no tears at wheel slots. Nice silky feel to the card (so minimal handling) and the colours are day-one bright.
The Instruction Packet has been opened and inside are the all-important Secret Instructions which detail the retractable machine guns, opening roof and ejector seat, rear bullet screen and telescopic over-riders.
All have been tested and work perfectly! The often-missing original badge is present, a little discoloured now, but still on the backing sheet. The spare villain figure is included too! Packet has been carefully opened , so no tears or crumpling.
The outer box is clean, bright and complete with all end flaps intact. Silky finish shows carefully handling. No tears or graffiti. Minor storage crumple at one end.
Nice all-original example, with one owner from new.
