D465
Dinky 465 Morris Commercial Van "CAPSTAN". Very near mint/boxed. From a private collection of Dinky and Corgi models, mostly purchased during the early 1980's at U.K. auction houses.
Notes
Issued during 1959, this is one of the harder-to-find advertising vans made by Dinky during this period. In all original, close to mint condition with virtually perfect “Have a Capstan” transfers on both sides ( one cigarette transfer has a small nick).
Few negligible rubs/tiny marks besides. Bright base and smooth-running original tyres.
The pictorial card box is really clean and bright showing minimal handling. Little crease and a tiny start of a tear at an end flap corner edge. Little storage crumple. No graffiti.
