DGS150
Dinky Gift Set 150 Royal Tank Corps Personnel. Very good/boxed. Rare Set from June 1940.
Notes
A very scarce early Gift Set issued during June 1940 (dated by the code at one lid side). This (unstrung) set comprises:
Dinky 150A – Royal Tank Corps Officer (with binoculars), paint finish is excellent but some fatigue now and the figure is detached from the base.
2 × 150B Privates, seated, both with minor crazing and rubbing to paint.
2 x Dinky 150C – Royal Tank Corps Private (arms behind back), one figure has very minor crazing. Much of the original paint finish remains.
Dinky 150E – Royal Tank Corps NCO (walking). very minor crazing. Much of the original paint finish remains.
A desirable group of figures, to enhance a Dinky military collection in particular.
Powder blue lift-off lid box is unrubbed with excellent strong colours. Two tea/coffee stains on the lid.
This set looks as if it has remained in a drawer for much of the past 70 or so years.
